"Sabina Paladino discovered her artistic vein late in life, after a course of humanistic studies that nevertheless influenced her sculptural productions in bronze or terracotta. The taste and love for the classical world shines through, in fact, in the solid, composed lines that follow the outline of the subjects depicted, outlining their sharp forms.
Her favorite subjects are mainly female figures, depicted variously posed, lying down or crouched or closed in on themselves; the soft forms of the modeling enhance the sweetness of the features and the body, always slender, slender, moving three-dimensionally in space, conquering it. And for that matter, the various parts of the body go along with the contour line, which certainly does not restrain the natural movement that animates each work.
The face, with accurate features that are also treated in detail, without ever lapsing into minutiae, is framed by the mass of hair marked by locks that are sometimes disheveled, but which follow, however, and emphasize, the twisting of the head outside the axis of the figure. The absorbed expression of the gaze seems, on the other hand, to seek, even when the head is bowed, solutions to the reflections and questions of the soul, reflecting the artist's inner states.
I hope that Sabina Paladino's artistic path can still be marked by this simple yet original style, such that it connotes her works with the same innovative language that the viewer can easily grasp and understand."

"In a time when a woman's body is an "object" to be consumed in advertising and the equality achieved exhibited often far from the aesthetic canons of a beauty combined with grace and femininity, Sabina Paladino's sculptures restore to women the dignity of the person. A dignity that is harmony of artistic composition, but at the same time feminine composure, where the body reclaims its interiority, repossesses the true freedom of the soul. This is revealed by the gaze that is lost in distant horizons not perimetered in that of the observer who will not be able to intercept it. The artist's sculptures are not marked by refined movements, her "women" express themselves in the everydayness of gestures, of movements that refer to introjection, sleep, abandonment. The sinuosity of forms becomes compositional harmony. The hands, in the act of leaning on the earth, reunite the woman project to the great project of nature, where creation becomes a mystery, a boundary between the human and the divine, an eternal return to life."

"An artist of exquisitely feminine sensibility, Sabina Paladino expresses her interiority through a skillful plasticity that nevertheless unfolds in pictorial solutions, in the alternation of movements that offer themselves in passages of light-shadow; the result is a tale of moments of great spiritual-emotional intensity; the fluidity of the forms leads the chiaroscuro to an elegantly linearistic re-solution, and induces a culturally aware Observer to connect, in a sphere of harmonic feedback, a profound Message of authentic Poetry. There occurs, here, the Fleeting Moment that unites the conscious Observer and the Artist."
